Orange Dog Investments, LLC ("we," "us," "our," or "Company") develops and publishes mobile applications. This Privacy Policy applies to all apps we publish, including AiReply, Parallel, and AiMeal, and any apps we release in the future (each an "App," together the "Apps"), as well as this website, unless a specific app provides its own separate privacy policy.

Our guiding principle is simple: we collect the minimum information needed to make each App work, we don't sell your data, and we don't use your content for advertising or to train AI models.

By using an App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Apps.

1. Information We Collect

What we collect depends on the App and the features you use. Across our Apps, the categories are:

• Account information. Some Apps offer optional accounts or sync (e.g., an email address used to sign in). Apps that don't need accounts don't ask for them.
• Content you provide. Text you type into an App (such as messages, meal choices, or notes), photos you choose to attach, and settings you select. This content may include personal or sensitive information if you choose to enter it.
• Purchase information. If you buy a subscription or in-app purchase, the transaction is processed by Apple (or Google). We receive purchase status (e.g., "subscribed"), not your payment card details.
• Device and usage data. Device type, OS version, IP address, app version, crash logs, and anonymized usage statistics used to fix bugs and improve the Apps.

We do not collect your contacts, precise location, browsing history, or advertising identifiers, and we do not ask for personal information an App doesn't need to function.

2. App-Specific Details

AiReply (AI text-reply assistant): No account is required. The message text and options you enter are sent to a third-party AI service (xAI/Grok) to generate reply suggestions, with your explicit consent (see Section 4). We do not store your messages on our servers after a reply is generated.

Parallel (family screen-time and wellness): Without family sync, all data stays on your device. With optional family sync, a parent/guardian signs in with an email address, and challenge completions, optional photos and reflections, credit balances, and settings are synced between your family's devices through our hosting provider. Teen profiles are created and managed by the parent/guardian; the parent PIN is stored only in hashed form. Family data is visible only to your family and is deleted when you delete it or reset the app.

AiMeal (AI meal planning and grocery lists): No account is required; meal plans, preferences, favorites, and grocery lists are stored on your device. AI features are opt-in: the app asks for your explicit consent before anything is sent, and you can change your choice anytime in Settings. With your consent, AiMeal sends the following to a third-party AI service (xAI's Grok) for the sole purpose of generating your meals, plans, and recipes:

• dish names and meal descriptions you type (to identify ingredients);
• your chosen meal style (Budget, Mix, or Fancy) and household size (the number of adults and kids), so meals and portions fit;
• your food preferences (never-list, cuisine leans, traditions, and product picks), and the titles of meals you marked as loved or skipped (to plan your week);
• a meal's title and ingredient names, when you request a cooking recipe.

These requests are processed transiently, are not stored on our servers, and are not linked to your identity; AiMeal never collects your name, email, contacts, or precise location, so they cannot be shared. xAI processes this data temporarily under its own privacy policy (see Section 4). If you decline, AiMeal continues to work using its built-in offline planner. Grocery product matching sends only the grocery item names to Kroger's public catalog API. If you use "Add to my Kroger cart," you sign in to Kroger directly and the items you approved are added to your Kroger cart; AiMeal never sees your Kroger password or payment details. If you use "Send to Reminders" or "Put meals on my calendar," AiMeal writes to your device's Reminders or Calendar through iOS, only after you grant the standard iOS permission at that moment; this data stays in Apple's apps on your device and is never transmitted to us.

Future apps will follow the same principles above. If a future app collects anything materially different, we will update this policy (see Section 10) or give that app its own policy before release.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide each App's core features (e.g., generate replies, sync family data, plan meals and build grocery lists).
• To process and improve the Apps (bug fixes, performance, crash diagnostics).
• To enforce safety features and our terms.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your content to train AI models, build advertising profiles, or for marketing unrelated to the App you're using.

4. Third-Party AI Disclosure (Apple & General Requirement)

Some Apps include AI-powered features. As required by Apple App Store Guidelines (Section 5.1.2(i)), we explicitly disclose that content you enter into AI features (such as message text in AiReply or meal descriptions in AiMeal) may be shared with third-party AI services to generate results. Where an AI feature shares personal data, you will be asked for explicit consent before first use, and you can withdraw consent by not using the feature or uninstalling the App. Our AI providers process this data temporarily and per their own privacy policies (e.g., xAI: https://x.ai/legal/privacy-policy).

5. Sharing and Disclosure of Information

We share information only in these limited ways:

• Service providers that operate infrastructure on our behalf: hosting and data sync (e.g., Supabase), purchase management (e.g., RevenueCat), anonymized analytics, and crash reporting.
• AI service providers, as described in Section 4, with your consent.
• Retailers you choose, for Apps that build a shopping list (e.g., when you send an AiMeal grocery list to your Kroger cart, the item names go to Kroger; you sign in and pay in Kroger's own checkout, and we never see your card).
• Legal requirements. If required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights and safety.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for third-party marketing.

6. Data Security

We use reasonable security measures, including encryption in transit and secure API calls, to protect your data. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Content processed by AI features (e.g., AiReply messages) is handled temporarily and not stored by us after results are generated. Synced app data (e.g., Parallel family data, AiMeal meal plans) is retained while your account is active and deleted when you delete it in the App or ask us to. Device and usage data is kept only as long as needed, typically 12 months or less, then deleted or anonymized. You can also stop all collection by uninstalling an App.

8. Children's and Teens' Privacy

Our Apps are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. Some Apps (such as Parallel) are designed for families: teen profiles are created, managed, and supervised by a parent or guardian, who controls what information (such as an optional photo) is shared and can delete it at any time. If you believe a child has provided us personal information without parental consent, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location:

• CCPA/CPRA (California residents): You may request access to, deletion of, or opt-out of certain uses of your personal information.
• GDPR (EU/EEA residents): You have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability, and objection. We process data based on your consent or our legitimate interest in providing app functionality.

10. International Data Transfers

Data may be processed in the United States or other countries. We use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy as our Apps evolve. Changes will be posted at this page with an updated effective date, and significant changes (such as new categories of data sharing) will be communicated in-app.
